Soccer fans worldwide are eagerly trying to secure tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with general sale tickets officially available since April 1. This phase, known as the "Last-Minute Sales Phase," offers a first-come, first-served opportunity for fans to purchase tickets via FIFA's official ticketing platform.
The official resale marketplace, which reopened on April 2, provides another option for fans to secure tickets. This platform allows fans to resell tickets they can no longer use, ensuring a secure and authorized environment for transactions. FIFA encourages fans to use this marketplace to avoid invalid or unauthorized resale.
You can also buy tickets through the secondary market on sites like StubHub or SeatGeak.
The 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, will be the largest in history, featuring 48 teams and 104 matches. The tournament kicks off on June 11, with the final scheduled for July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Fans should regularly check FIFA's official ticket hub for the latest updates on availability and purchasing options.
