Carrie Underwood shared photos of the gorgeous gowns she wore on American Idol on Monday evening (March 30).
Underwood posted photos on Instagram of her Job Dacon floral dress with pink petals cascading down the floor-length skirt. She changed into a stunning Rish Bridal gown with a silver belt when she took the stage. Underwood joined 2025 platinum ticket winners — Filo, Canaan James Hill and Kolbi Jordan — during the “Songs of Faith” episode to perform “How Great Thou Art!” The song appeared on Underwood’s Grammy-winning gospel album, My Savior.
Underwood served as a judge for the first time in 2025. It was a full circle moment that took place two decades after host Ryan Seacrest crowned her the winner of American Idol’s fourth season in 2005. Underwood returned for her second consecutive season with fellow judges Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. See Underwood’s Idol looks here, and watch her performance below.
American Idol airs on ABC on Monday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET/PT. It’s available to stream the next day on Hulu.
